It started with a question. Why are we always reacting to brain health challenges, especially when the signals often come early? That question led to the formation of Seismic Wellness Labs—the company’s original name. Inspired by the idea of a seismograph—a tool designed to detect invisible tremors before disaster strikes—Seismic was built around a single belief: we need earlier warning systems for the brain. That belief still defines us. Today, as Ceresant Solutions, we are building the infrastructure for [Predictive Prevention](https://www.ceresant.com/blog/were-creating-a-new-category-in-mental-health-because-we-have-to)—starting in schools, where early risk shows up but is rarely addressed in time. This blog is where we’ll share the thinking behind that work. You’ll find stories from the field, insights into student wellbeing, updates on [BrainDash](https://www.ceresant.com/braindash), and broader conversations about what it means to build systems for lifelong brain health. Some posts will speak directly to school leaders and counselors. Others will look further ahead. We chose the name *The Seismic Shift* for a reason.
